The Journells are great instructors. They seem to have the balance of making classes fun and friendly but firm and disciplined too. They also go the extra mile being available before and after class to talk with parents even taking time to sew the class patches,order uniforms, and equipment too. My daughter has been taking classes for the past four months and her focus and self confidence have greatly increased. Her fitness level is much better as well.

Troy Martial Arts is absolutely perfect for my family and I. Do I need to know jiu-jitsu or Judo to study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?

No, you don’t. There are beginner classes available and many of the people who study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu have no prior martial arts training.
